Parks are expensive down that way. We really liked a small park called Geiger Key Marina. It is 10 miles form Key West. If you have a very large RV it will be hard to fit in, but it’s a really nice little park. Right on the intercoastal waterway. They have a bar and tiki hut restaurant with pretty good food and live bands occasionally.

Boyds is the popular campground in Key West, It is very expensive, but close to the action and really nice too. It can accommodate any size rigs.

The state parks are nice down there but you need to reserve very early because they fill up fast.

There is no free camping in the Keys. You can’t even spend a night in a parking lot somewhere so make sure you have somewhere to stay.

I dove with Lost Reef Adventures and they run a good operation. For the Vandenberg, I hired a guide because the ship is so large. I think that was a good decision because I got to see a lot of the ship in 2 dives and the guide knew where to go. He was also a photographer so he would take me to good places to take photos.
